Welcome to the Human Perceptions of Insects research website!
Bienvenue, welcome to the Human Perceptions of Insects research website. This website features a relatively unknown component of the animal world – insects (yes insects are animals), and the understanding of these animals from a social sciences perspective. The goal of this website is to highlight the human dimensions of insect conservation, and to showcase the various contributions of these animals. Our aim is to eliminate the exclusion of arthropods in general, and insects, more specifically from human-animal studies. A syndrome that is also known as Arthropod Discourse Disorder (ADD).
